Coach Group and Team Exercises
Below you will find some examples of exercises and workshops for groups and teams, and ideas for additional exercises.
We differentiate between Groups and Teams:
- In a Group workshop, participants may not know each other or even have anything in common.
- In a Team workshop, participants know each other and work in a team - they could collaborate but have different roles within the team, or they could have the same role but work in parallel (for instance, a team of project managers).
Group exercises are suitable for both groups and teams - often focusing on the needs of the individual but working with others to explore and plan how to get more from talents.
Team exercises are geared towards helping participants collaborate more effectively, aligning their talents with the needs of the team.

GROUP AND TEAM EXERCISE IDEAS
The following 18 exercises are designed as a starting point that you can adapt to your needs. Each one offers a way to help people engage with the CliftonStrengths® talent themes through the CS StrengthsDeck, whether that’s by sparking conversation, deepening self-awareness, or exploring how talents show up in groups and teams.
