Strengths Exchange - Thetford Forest
A one-day, peer-led gathering for CliftonStrengths® coaches
Strengths Exchange – Thetford Forest is a small, reflective gathering designed for coaches who want space to think together, explore real coaching questions, and spend time in thoughtful conversation with others who understand the work.
Set within a calm woodland environment, the day blends walking discussions, peer-led practice, and unstructured reflection. Nature is used deliberately as a backdrop for insight, perspective, and slower, more considered dialogue.
Friday 10th July • Thetford Forest, UK
One full day • Limited to 24 coaches

Core Philosophy
Strengths Exchange is shaped by a few simple principles:
- By coaches, for coaches - Everyone contributes.
- Conversation before content - Insight emerges through dialogue, practice, and shared coaching language.
- Light structure, strong trust - Enough shape to feel supported, not managed.
- Nature as a thinking partner - Walking and stillness are used deliberately to support reflection and perspective.
- Accessible and affordable - Designed to be easy to say yes to, without pressure to perform or impress.
-
What Strengths Exchange Is
Strengths Exchange – Thetford Forest is a peer-led gathering built around inquiry, experience, and coach-to-coach exchange.
It is designed for people who already use the CliftonStrengths® framework in their practice and want space to think more deeply about how they apply it, challenge it, and work with it in real-world contexts.
This is not a conference. There are no speakers, no hierarchy, and no content delivery. Insight emerges through conversation, shared language, and lived coaching experience.
What to Expect
The day begins gently, with the option to arrive from 9:00 for an informal welcome and light buffet breakfast together, allowing time to settle in before anything structured begins.
In both the morning and the afternoon, you can choose how you want to engage. You may join an In Motion Session to walk, reflect, and uncover fresh insight together, or a Studio Session to build, explore, and see your coaching thinking from new angles.
In the unlikely event of rain, we have an indoor area available for those who prefer not to be outside. In Motion Sessions will still go ahead for anyone happy to walk in the rain.
Lunch is relaxed and flexible. You are welcome to bring your own, or take time to visit the forest café.
There is space for silence as well as dialogue, for curiosity as well as clarity. The pace is calm and unrushed, with time built in to think, reflect, and integrate what emerges.
The day closes with a collective reflection, drawing together insights, questions, and themes people want to carry forward into their coaching work.
For those who would like to stay a little longer, there is informal time afterwards for coffee and conversation until 18:00.

About Strengths Exchange
Strengths Exchange is an independent, peer-led gathering created by practicing CliftonStrengths® coaches who wanted a different kind of professional space.
This Thetford Forest gathering is the first of its kind. It has been intentionally designed as a small, reflective pilot, shaped by real coaching experience rather than a fixed event format.
It is organised and facilitated by Pippa Dennitts (Strengths in People) and Col Maggs (Vortex Cambridge & Strengths Playground). Both work actively with the CliftonStrengths® framework and created Strengths Exchange to offer coaches time away from delivery, content, and performance, and space for thoughtful conversation, reflection, and shared practice.
Strengths Exchange is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Gallup.
